CommBank Staff Foundation membership included in your registration

 Can4Cancer is a program of the CommBank Staff Foundation.  Whilst most Can4Cancer participants are already members of the Foundation, if you are not already a member you will be auto enrolled as part of your registration. 

 As a member of the Foundation, you will be able to further your contribution to the community through other Foundation programs, such as nominating organisations for a $10,000 Community Grant, support the work of the Clown Doctors and assisting communities impacted by natural disasters.

From November, a $5 donation will be made from your pre-tax pay, which will be matched by the Bank. 

Of course, if you would like to opt out of Foundation membership, you will be able to and this does not impact your participation in Can4Cancer. Please email any questions to can4cancer@cba.com.au

AIA Donation Matching campaign

Donate to Can4Cancer from 9am Tuesday 24 October and your donation will be DOUBLED, to the value of $10,000.

During the Can4Cancer walk event on the Tuesday 24 October, AIA Australia is excited to announce that all donations made via the Sydney Can4Cancer walk pages, will be doubled, up to the value of $10,000.

Your $50 donation becomes $100, or donate $500 and It’ll turn into $1,000.

Matched donations are going to supporting cancer research projects in 2023, meaning every dollar donated will be matched by AIA Australia, doubling the impact of your contribution.

Every donation, large or small, can make a difference and with this matching opportunity, your gift will go twice as far in helping Can4Cancer achieve our mission of curing cancer, changing lives.

The AIA Donation Matching campaign is available from 9am AEST Tuesday 24th October 2023, on all donations made via your individual or team donation page, to the value of $10,000.

Registration and Fundraising

Registrations for all walks is sold out and now closed.

This year you have the choice to complete the Can4Cancer walk within 10km or 21km

The registration fee for each walker is $70 (standard) or $60 (early bird - closes 30 June 2023).

Your registration covers:

  • Can4Cancer kit (shirt and cap)

  • Catering throughout the day

  • Lunch and Recovery following the walk

The fundraising target for each walker is $250.

We need support crew

Registrations for all walks is sold out and now closed.

The Can4Cancer event couldn’t go ahead without our amazing support crew! We need marshals, van drivers and navigators and lots more. Being part of the support crew is a rewarding and unforgettable experience!

There is no registration fee for support crew and we will supply you with Can4Cancer support crew walk shirt and cap, and catering throughout the day.

The fundraising target for support crew is $250.  

Teams

Register as an individual or join as a team. 

Each team will have:

  • A team leader – this person will be responsible to share all relevant details about the walk and ensure fundraising targets are being met

  • Unlimited team members

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the registration fee and what does it include?

The registration fee for 2023:
Early bird rate: $60 p/person, closes 30 June 2023
Standard rate: $70p/person 

Your registration fee goes towards the day to provide:

  • T-shirt

  • Cap 

  • Brunch, late lunch and snacks

  • Lunch and Recovery following the walk

You will be required to pay your registration fee at the final step of the registration process. 

When do registrations close?

Registrations will close 4 weeks prior to event day, unless published otherwise.

When is the early bird registration period?

Register during June 2023 and you will get a $10 discount on your registration fee. Early Bird closes 30 June 2023.
